PUX uses artificial intelligence to power its customer service automation platform. We believe in being transparent about how AI is used in our product.
1AI Service Provider
PUX integrates with OpenAI GPT-4o-mini to power its AI chatbot. The chatbot assists businesses with:
- Automated customer service responses
- Appointment scheduling and management
- Customer inquiry handling across WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, and email
2How We Use Google User Data
When users connect their Google account (Calendar or Gmail) to PUX:
- Google Calendar data is used exclusively to check availability, create, update, and cancel appointments
- Gmail is used exclusively to send transactional emails (appointment confirmations, reminders, and notifications) on behalf of the user
- We do NOT read, store, or analyze incoming emails
3AI and Google User Data
- Google user data is NOT used for AI model training, fine-tuning, or any machine learning purpose
- Google user data is NOT sent to OpenAI or any third-party AI provider
- The AI chatbot interacts with Google Calendar and Gmail only through official Google APIs to perform the specific actions requested by users
PUX strictly separates AI processing from Google user data. No Google data is ever transmitted to AI model providers.
4Data Protection
- All Google user data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Access tokens are stored securely using Google Cloud Secret Manager
- Users can disconnect their Google account at any time from the PUX dashboard
